Speaking for All School Workshops (FYG01S)

Interactive English learning workshop aims to foster a positive and confident approach to English communication through engaging activities focused on Speech, Drama and Music, or Intercultural Communication.

  • Participants: Secondary 1–6 Students

Programme Objectives
  • Nurturing a positive, inclusive, and open attitude in students towards learning English;
  • Empowering students with confidence to communicate effectively in English.

Programme Content
Chamber Debate Club-1

The programme has a quota of 30 secondary schools.

On-site Interactive English learning Workshops (2 hours)
Students will participate in a series of engaging and interactive activities to enhance their confidence and motivation in English communication.

Two themes are available:

  • Speech, Drama, and Music (using drama, speech activities, and musical elements as an engaging medium to empower students to overcome their fear of speaking English).
  • Intercultural Communication (using intercultural dialogue as a medium to foster students' curiosity and enhance their confidence in engaging in conversations with people from diverse cultural backgrounds).

Date and time: Two hours on any one weekday between November 2025 and July 2026, excluding public holidays.
Venue: At premises of participating schools (On-site)

Remarks
  • Lots will be drawn in case of over-enrolment.
  • Successful applicants will be informed by the Institute through email.
  • If face-to-face classes are suspended during the programme period, the affected sessions will be rescheduled.
