Train-the-trainer Workshops for Teachers (FYG04S)
Professional development workshop aims to equip teachers with effective strategies and practical tools for enhancing their teaching practices.
Participants: English Language Teachers (ELT)
Programme Objectives
- Equipping teachers with practical skills to develop students' English communication competence;
- Empowering teachers to create engaging and dynamic classroom environments that foster effective communication skills.
Programme Content
The programme offers four workshops. Each workshop has a quota of 30 teachers.
Professional Development Workshops (2 hours)
These workshops will equip teachers with practical teaching skills and techniques specifically related to the chosen theme. Two themes are available:
- Public Speaking Techniques (focusing on the fundamental principles of public speaking and provides practical techniques for analysing and evaluating students' speeches and offering constructive feedback.)
- Drama and Speech Activities (focusing on integrating interactive activities into lesson planning, design and implementation to foster an engaging classroom environment.)

- Lots will be drawn in case of over-enrolment.
- Successful applicants will be informed by the Institute through email.
- If face-to-face classes are suspended during the programme period, the affected sessions will be rescheduled.
