
Public speaking training aims to develop students' ability to write and deliver compelling speeches, incorporating effective verbal and nonverbal public speaking techniques.
- Participants: Secondary 1–6 students
- Enabling students to write and deliver a speech with a compelling content and cohesive structure;
- Equipping students with effective verbal and non-verbal techniques to enhance their delivery of speech.

The programme offers four classes. Each class has a quota of 30 students.
Public Speaking Training (6 hours)
Participants will:
- learn the core pinciples of verbal and non-verbal public speaking techniques, including tone, pace, volume and articulation as well as posture, gestures and eye contact;
- learn how to develop an impactful introduction that capture audience attention, build well-supported arguments with clear evidence and reasoning, and create a memorable conclusion to enhance message delivery;
- practise delivering speeches, receive constructive feedback, and develop the confidence to present their ideas effectively.

- Successful applicants will be informed by the Institute through email.
- If face-to-face classes are suspended during the programme period, the affected sessions will be rescheduled.
