Journey Overview
Nepal, an ancient mountainous nation, is home to 8 of the world's 14 peaks exceeding 8,000 meters, attracting nearly 1 million foreign visitors annually. As a developing country, Nepal faces challenges in climate change, education, and healthcare. This program will guide participants through Nepal, using the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a framework to examine the country's development challenges and opportunities. Participants will also explore China's support initiatives and collaborative projects in Nepal.
In this journey, you can:
Visit the Chinese Embassy in Nepal
Interact with local young nuns and provide volunteer teaching
Tour World Heritage Sites and other tourist attractions
Stay with villagers to deeply experience local rural culture
Engage in dialogue with founders of various local social enterprises
