The Foundation Course for Student Leaders 2025/26
This course is a brand-new leadership training program designed for student leaders in secondary schools. It aims to cultivate students' leadership abilities, communication skills, problem-solving skills, event planning capabilities, and teamwork skills, enabling them to become outstanding leaders. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, allowing participants to interact with peers from different schools. It also fosters participants' confidence, sense of responsibility, and problem-solving abilities to prepare them for future challenges. This course is the pilot course for the "Student Leaders Training Certificate Course", which is designed to train students to become outstanding leaders in the future.

Enrollment is done via the Institute’s website (leadershipinstitute.hk) by filling in basic student details. The registration deadline is two weeks before the course starts. If a course is full, a waitlist will be opened, and waitlisted parents are prioritised for notification. Early enrollment is recommended, especially for popular courses like AI-related topics.
The Institute will confirm whether the course will proceed two weeks before it starts. If a course is cancelled, participants will be notified via email and WhatsApp.
Our instructors are industry experts with relevant professional qualifications or at least 5 years of youth training experience. The Institute conducts regular instructor evaluations and training to ensure up-to-date content and engaging delivery.
Course fees are non-refundable once paid. Medical absences may be handled flexibly with proof. Detailed policies are available upon enrollment confirmation.
If a Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is in effect two hours prior to the scheduled class, the class for that day will be cancelled. The Institute will arrange make-up sessions as appropriate.
The content framework is the same, but the depth varies. Primary students focus on foundational concepts, gamification, and interactive elements to spark interest and build basic skills. Secondary students explore advanced applications, critical thinking, and real-world case studies, tailored to their cognitive level and learning needs. Instructors will adjust the pace to provide appropriate challenges
for each age group.
